The mission of P.S.31Q is to provide our children with an exemplary educational program in a safe, nurturing and stimulating environment.  We strive to equip each child with experiences that connect classroom learning to real life.  Our dedicated staff and involved parents are committed to excellence and are instrumental in educating the whole child.  Together we can make a difference in developing self-confident, literate, life-long learners who will be productive citizens in a technological and culturally diverse world.

Instructional Focus 2025-2026 School Year

At PS31Q, The Bayside School, students will engage in rigorous, research-based learning to become strong readers and mathematicians, guided by the NYC Reads and NYC Solves initiatives for 2025–2026. Technology and the arts will be integrated into every classroom to foster creativity and digital responsibility. A multi-tiered support system will address each child’s academic and social needs, while promoting a culture of respect, trust, and partnership among students, families, and staff.

 

Set up your Child's NYCSA Account!

The NYC Schools Account (NYCSA) Portal will allow you to:

  • See your students grades, test scores, attendance records, busing/transportation information, etc.
  • Take classes in Parent University
  • Report bullying
  • Access forms for your child
  • Reset your child's DOE account password
  • Access SupportHub
  • This account will remain with your child as long as they are apart of the NYC DOE School system, up until the 12th grade!

All with one login!

 

Visit www.schoolsaccount.nyc to create an account. You will need your child's 9-digit student ID number and a unique account creation code.
