Dear Parents,
 
We are very pleased and excited to be able to teach your child English this year.  It is important for us to work together to help your child do his or her best in school and to learn English.
  We will focus on listening, speaking, reading and writing skills in each lesson.
 
Parent-Teacher Conferences and Report Cards
We will meet with you and your child's teacher during the Parent-Teacher Conferences you schedule.  Students in the ENL Program will receive  a grade level Report Card.
 
ENL Parent Orientation Meetings
On September 22, 2016, there will be a meeting scheduled for parents of children in the ENL Program at PS 31,Q.  Letters will be sent home for this meeting.  Information about the ENL Program will be provided and materials will be given out to parents to work with their child at home.  There will also be a meeting sometime in March to discuss the state test your child will take in April and May.
